Charming historical architecture, access to local transport, engaging local dining options nearby

Soundproofing needs significant improvement!!! I could hear street noise and conversations, making it hard to relax. The parking fees were absurdly high, and the space was way too cramped for comfort!!!

Charming stay with a local touch

Our room was spacious and uniquely decorated, providing a lovely glimpse into Bamberg's history. The staff greeted us warmly, making us feel like part of the family from check-in.

However, sound insulation left something to be desired. Noisy neighbors kept us awake past midnight, making it difficult to rest after a long day of sightseeing.

horrific soundproofing

unhelpful staff

i was thoroughly unimpressed with this hotel. the soundproofing is horrific, i could hear every single conversation next door. plus, the staff had such audacity, they didn’t even offer me a complimentary drink for my troubles after my room mix-up. the only redeeming thing was the location, but i almost gave a good review, just couldn’t.

I loved the cozy vibe of my room. It was just a short walk to the main sights. The unique layout with my bedroom on the 3rd floor was different but enjoyable. It. The markets nearby were also a nice bonus. 😊
